Ashley Schivelbein, APRN is an ANCC board certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 13 years of experience. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychobiology with a minor in Chemistry and graduated with honors from Simmons University in Boston in the pre-med program. She earned her Master’s in Science degree in Family Health Nursing from Boston College. Ashley spent the first 8+ years of her career as a primary care provider managing acute and chronic illnesses as well as providing women’s health and mental health services. The next 3+ years, she worked at Mayo Clinic in the Endocrinology department where she specialized in diabetes and thyroid disease management. Ashley has since joined a local private practice where she manages spine and joint conditions including performing intra-articular injections. She has recently launched Direct NP, LLC and is excited to be partnering with Beenen Therapy Group where she will focus on providing mental health, medical weight loss and hormone replacement therapy services. In her free time, Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons as well as traveling.
